Fergal O'Dea, principal at O'Dea Architects Cork is both an architect and a professional artist. He owns a fully registered architectural practice and is a member of the RIAI, the industry standard for architects. His acclaimed artwork includes paintings and pencil drawings which decorate and are offered for sale in a number of venues as well as online. His artist's eye informs all stages of his designs. As an architect he possesses over twenty years’ experience working in the private sector specialising in New Builds, Extensions and Commercial Architecture. He worked for many years in one of the best architectural firms in Cork before opening his own business. Residential Development Riverstick Co Cork.

24 residential units consisting of 5 bedrooms.  The steep nature of the site meant that majority of the dwelling houses needed to be designed at split level. All dwelling houses were designed with a high specification.

12 Duplex apartments with underground parking.  There are a variety of apartment sizes which vary from 2  bedroom to 3 bedroom.

Private Dwelling House Of Limerick

5 bedroom private dwelling house Co Limerick.  This is an open plan design on the ground floor which enables the home owner to make changes to their living space daily.According to the local area plan a traditional plan and elevation was preferred . However the open plans are innovative and maximize the aspect of the site.

Private Dwelling House Kinsale Co Cork.

This 5 bedroom open plan house is situated on the coast of the Kinsale. 

This dwelling house  is strategically designed to optimize its  aspect so that there is an even distribution of light throughout the day.

Private Extension Douglas, Cork

This site extension has a double vaulted ceiling to create the illusion of space. A Japanese garden was designed to the rear garden so that an indoor outdoor habitable space could be used.
